SURGICAL OPTIONS FOR TREATING ESSENTIAL TREMOR
presented by Jason Gerrard, MD, PhD

Dr. Jason Gerrard is an Assistant Professor of Neurosurgery and Neurobiology. He is the Chief of the Functional and Stereotactic and Neurotrauma Sections of the Yale School of Medicine, Department of Neurosurgery. Dr. Gerrard’s area of clinical interest includes the treatment of movement disorders such as Essential Tremor via deep brain stimulation, and he performs DBS surgery at Yale New Haven Hospital.

    Take Exit 28 to Route 72 West.
    Take Corbin Avenue Exit (Exit 7).
    Turn left at end of ramp.
    Follow the blue hospital signs up the hill.
    Left onto Hart Street.
    Straight.
    Left onto Linwood Street.
    Take second right onto Grand Street.
    Garage entrance on right.
  • From I-84:
    Take Exit 35 to Route 72 East.
    Take Corbin Avenue Exit (Exit 7).
    Turn left at end of ramp.
    Follow the blue hospital signs up the hill.
    Left onto Hart Street.
    Straight.
    Left onto Linwood Street.
    Take second right onto Grand Street.
    Garage entrance on right.
  • The City parking garage next to the hospital lobby is the most convenient place to park.
