presented by Bernardo Rodrigues, M.D., Ph.D.

Dr. Bernardo Rodrigues is an Assistant Professor of Neurology at UConn School of Medicine and a Movement Disorders Neurologist at UConn Health in Farmington. He received his medical degree from the Federal University of Bahia in Brazil, where he also completed his Ph.D. in neurosciences. Dr. Rodrigues worked in Brazil in the field of movement disorders, and his Ph.D. thesis was on the study of swallowing in Parkinson’s disease. After moving to the U.S., he completed neurology residency at UConn Health and proceeded to fellowship training in movement disorders at the University of Michigan. Dr. Rodrigues sees all patients with involuntary movements and offers injection of botulinum toxin and programming of deep brain stimulation.

  • The City parking garage immediately next to the hospital lobby is the most convenient place to park.
