Medical Management of Essential Tremor:
A Review of Treatment Options
presented by Michelle Lavallee Dagostine, MD
At this meeting Dr. Lavallee Dagostine will review the medical management of essential tremor, including approved treatment options. She will discuss which drugs have evidence for efficacy and also touch on new medications in clinical trials.
Dr. Michelle Lavallee Dagostine is a movement disorder specialist with Hartford HealthCare Medical Group and is part of the Chase Family Movement Disorder Center. She graduated from the Rochester Institute of Technology with a bachelor’s degree, majoring in Biology and minoring in Spanish language and culture. After earning her medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington DC, Dr. Lavallee Dagostine went on to complete her neurology residency, including chief resident year, at Georgetown University Hospital. She proceeded to complete a fellowship in Neurophysiology, followed by a fellowship in Movement Disorders, also at Georgetown University Hospital.
